We know you’ve heard of a burpee, but if for some reason you haven’t, you are in for a real treat. Burpees are arguably one of the worst (best) functional bodyweight movements you can do.
Everyone is scared of the burpee. And we know in the back of your mind, you’re probably thinking – there is no way I’m scheduling, they are going to make me do burpees. Well, we would never make you do burpees the first time you walk in the gym… well, maybe we would… anyway, moving on! The more important fact is that a being scared of a burpee is ridiculous.
Here is a one-minute burpee challenge for you.
In one minute, complete as many burpees as possible. When you finish, send us a note on how many you completed!
So, what is a burpee? Burpees are simple:
1.Start by standing big and tall
2.Lay down on your stomach
3.Return to standing big and tall
4.Put your hands over your head and at the same time, jump, clap, and celebrate because you just completed a burpee!
